What is the general consensus for replacement of the Elephant racing monoballs?

I have run the Elephant package for years and am satisfied with the handling. I'm just getting tired of the noise the bushings make every time they load and unload, which is all the time. Lubing the Zirk fittings doesn't seem to do much.

What about Delrin for handling, lifetime of service and noise? Other suggestions?

Stock rubber?
I think that's good enough for a street driven car.

What's the consensus on the best brand of rubber bushings to use on a performance street car?

Is the roller bearing setup still available anywhere?

Looks like Mark has them.

I've got them front and rear from back when Mueller did them.

For the front, these things are magical.

street car, rubber.
Competitive, bearings.

Rubber is tough to install.
Bearings are expensive and need care.

For any poly/delrin/plastic bushing I would contact Chris Foley.
He reams them out properly so they wont squeek.

Hardness is an issue with the plastic bushings because over time, as the car sits and wears on one spot, they do take on an oval shape.
They are not lifetime things.

This is what I did. Good results going on two years now.

Same here. Elephant rubber bushings were easy to install with the special tools in the kit.

^I like those...if I didn't already have a set of roller bearings for my car and I was in the market (and had the $) I'd seriously consider those.

Tighten them up? confused24.gif

My suspension is entirely from Elephant and its quieter and smoother than worn out stock.

I've got them front and rear from back when Mueller did them.

I don't know if Mark is still making them, I just installed a front set on my teen.
I modified them slightly to give them a bit better seals.
