Not mine just saw it on you tube. The guy has 3 videos on his 73 restoration.

Oh my. My hat is off to this most optimistic car restorer I've seen in awhile. He must relish the challenge of bringing this POS back to life (excuse my French).

Hope he got it for a good price.

Looks a little rough ...

When I bought the donor car for my 914 racecar, my "rigidity test" was to simply jack the car up. It had such bad rot in the hell hole that the rear of the car was pretty much flapping in the breeze, and the rear visibly sagged, even with no engine in it, when I jacked it up from the floor pan just ahead of the engine bay. The genius previous owner had made a cut out in the rain tray for a larger battery, thereby funneling ALL the water onto the battery area. Pure genious ...

With a LOT of welding, sheet metal, and tubing, I managed to bring it back, and she's still running strong 20 years later.

He said "T" top. I had a chuckle at that. Do you know if he ever restored his car?

Keep watching--it's a series of videos. Someone who worked on that car in the past was a true "Bondo Michelangelo". I believe he showed over 1/2" in some spots? It really gets ridiculous.

Ah, here it is:

The last video he posted on the 914 was a year ago, and he was pretty deep into it there. He was replacing part of the left-front inner fender. From the videos posted, it looks like he has a whole lot of projects to keep him occupied...

Amazing bondo work. I was LMAO as I watched his eternal optimism descend into the 7th ring of Hell.
