Lots of different design elements.
Looks like a Ferrari 355 front end with early Testarossa high side mirrors.

When I see things like this I often wonder why someone would throw a ton of money at such a hideous project. Somehow free will is involved but I can't understand the thought process. The bodywork obviously took some time and money. During that process didn't anyone take the owner aside (like behind a dumpster) and explain things to them?
Point of order: it sure as hell isn't a GT car despite what the license plate claims.

I think I saw this at Hershey Swap last year in the car corral? It Looked good but my problem with it was, to me a stock 914 looks better, and for the money to build it imagine what you could have if you put it into a good restoration of a LE car.

Yes it was at Hershey last year for sale at 25k. Owner said it was an original 6 car but vin doesn't back that up, neither does being a 1975.

To me, this falls into the category of well if you're gonna make some
one-off wacky car then you better be prepared to keep it or eat it because
probably no one will think it's as valuable as you do.

It has some nice parts on it....seats, steering wheel, Getty dash, rims, MAYBE a good motor
But I just figured out that the rear deck louvers are likely from a 1980's Camaro/Firebird.

The 3rd tail-lite holder is so F40,tho the wing is the thing.
The front view is tolerable, similar to the 911 slope.
The cumulative effect of additions without improvements in power is a heavier car.
With a minor reshaping it would have more appeal, the b glass in particular.

My opinion. I see all of the various body kits that have come and gone as lame attempts to "correct" the original design by people that could not appreciate the 914 for what it is. They are fools!

Speaker pods with stereo delete.....why do that?
It's a 1975 also, so it's not gonna be a six unless converted.
I wonder if that rear thing comes off....then maybe the next owner could get it slightly back towards normal.

I think every kit made offered a different way to make a 914 look hideous, just pick how ugly you wanted. Workmanship looks good, so yeah, just think how nice she could have been with all that time and cash poured on her!

Wonder how hard it would be to remove all that crap and maybe make it into a track car?

What a waste of a great license plate!
Owner should be charged with fraud and forced to give up the plate to a real GT
I'm betting he also own a Fiero lambo kit or is considering one!
