1976 2.0

I am planning on starting my engine this weekend and was installing the rebuilt MPS this evening. I came across a problem. As far as I remember the MPS & decel valve mount on a metal plate in the engine bay on the battery side. Unfortunately the charcoal canister seems to hit the decel valve. Does anyone have a photo of how this arrangement should look?

There you go...looks tight in the later models.

Thanks for the help. I might relocate the decel valve its a tight fit.

Should be able to just rotate it a bit.....IIRC...it just sandwhich mounts along with the MPS bracket top screw.
