What's the plan Rich? Stuffing a big fat motor in there? I'll let you know if I see anything interesting.
I've been entertaining the idea myself. Maybe Subarize one. 
that boxster conversion is pretty interesting. how cheap can broken boxers be found these days?

Don't have any blown engine cars on CL around here but a couple that run fine for $6k-$6500. They're getting cheap! That V8 conversion car sounds great.
$2000 boxster on Portland craigslist, check Porsche for sale.
