So, I must be completely out of touch re money these days...... I just stopped at a local well known parts distributor in Redwood City and tried to buy a pair of side marker lights that were marked "new" and so they appeared. The price was...... sit down folks, $299.95 each plus the government's fair share. I even asked to verify the price and yup, that was the correct price.

Was I wrong to gently set them down and say that was a bit high? I mean really?
