I had forgotten about this until I opened a box and found the original dealer sticker with the dealer serial # for the car (#2279).

I bought the car in Florida in 1978 and still have the car today. I am the second or 3rd owner I think.

I had a small fire back in 1988 and the sticker got some damage.

European dealers used to put stickers or badges on their cars too.

My 1st 914-6 had been Chuck Stoddard's personal car - it had a 2.2S Motor in it. Last I heard it was in the PNW

Was that the one he wrote up in Pano years ago? He put an oil tank level gauge in it and did some other beat things to it back in the day.

After he sold the dealership, he went on to play with GMC motor homes (probably why I have one today).
