My car's AAR is working again!
The WD40 tip did the trick! I soaked the AAR in a plastic container filled with WD40 for 24 hr. After a few hours in the sun and an air line pistol I put in the vice and tried and tested it following the tips given here.
Hey presto, it works. And indeed, the thing gets pretty hot. Good tip! Total amount spent? Well, what's the price of a can WD40 nowadays? I had found a replacement from a guy here in Holland. His asking price? 180 euros... I'm glad I'm a member here! Saved me a lot of money!
