Aren't the alternator from a /4 the same as what's used on say a '77 2.7 engine..I need to source one in the next couple of weeks. Any suggestions?

The reason I ask is because when I search Porsche alts on ebay I get alot of "1965-'77,2.0-2.7L" but I guess that assumes a 6 cylinder 2.0..which is what I'll be needing, just thought I might be able to get a better deal on a 914/4 unit..thanks!

i just remembered Dennis & Randy Aase as "The Aase Brothers" and never knew there was a Dave (until today).
