I scratched my paint pulling a trouble light into the engine bay while laying on the rear trunk...the cord had some debris stuck to it.

This only needed to happen once before contacting Garold to buy a service cover. A great product.

Can't tell you how many times I have thanked mom for this product. Best money you can spend.

I've been meaning to ask that same question for a while now. And if no longer available, I'd love to buy someone's if they are interested in selling. Anyone?

That sure looks like a resewn moving blanket like you get at Harbor Freight. What is it made of?

Im kind of hijacking this thread a bit but who can tell me the best outdoor cover for a 914? I dont have off-street parking and need something to keep the weather off now that it wont be living at the shop every day for much longer!

That's exactly what it starts out as. The magic is that it is cut to the correct size & shape, a re-inforced edge sewn in, magnets sewn in to hold it in place on the car and a handy storage bag to hold it in when not in use. Worth every penny of the $85 or so price of admission shipped to your door.

Ms. Millie for prez!! cheer.gif aktion035.gif

For the complete car not sure what others are using. When mine are outside in the weather I use on of Perry Kiehl umbrella covers. CLICK HERE for the link to his covers in the members vendor section. I have 5 of his covers and use them every day.

Microbead makes a pretty good one that is 914 specific.

May be better ones but this is just the one I know about.

Im very interested in the umbrella cover but cant tell from the pics how well it covers the gaps on the engine lid.
