I removed the shifter and pedal cluster. After reconnecting the clutch cable to thr pedal cluster and tranny, I hear the cable rubbing against the clutch cable tube. When I reach into the tunnel behind the shifter and hold the tube while depressing the clutch I can feel the tube making friction with the cable ?

Any thoughts on this ?

Is there an old piece of sheathing still in the tube? Can you use a mirror to verify you haven't crossed cables? beerchug.gif

Double-check the clutch and throttle cables at the front of the center tunnel. They can get wrapped around each other, and that might make noise or move one or the other so that it rubs a bit.

Look carefully at the clutch tube while you push the pedal. If it moves, it has broken loose and needs to be re-welded.
