agree.gif but we need it BIGGER, more volume we need ...

Hey Mike, what CAD program are you using?
Randal
I'll bet he can specify whatever volume he wants.

yeah, hey Mü, how long to make one and how much ???

it would need a hole and threads on the top for the stock 2.0L TB. make the plenum 3.5 L in volume (without the short runner pipes part).
please, *don't* make it any wider than the stock plenum, add volume in height as we have room to go up ...

then, all we need next is a set of custom intake runners! btw. we need 38mm inner dia. on the runners ....

you're hired!

yeah, i think so. not with FI, but the carbs will do for now.

need to get the new trailing arms mounted plus a few more little things, but i should be ready for marina!

The CAD looks great! Sir Andy said there is room to grow higher, but what would prevent the TB from being mounted horizontally, like on the GT3 CF plenum someone posted the pic of on a previous thread? This may allow the mounting of a cone-stype airfilter, and no loss of the rain tray.

Thoughts? confused24.gif

Design change Andy?

Design change Andy?

yeah, sort of. if we keep the overall length of the runners stock (or longer!) it should be safe (and beneficial) to increase the volume of the plenum. the previous number was closer to the min. but in this case, bigger is better ...
