Bought these heads in 2005 and they have remained in the box wrapped in plastic since then. they seem to be reconditioned heads with new valves, guides etc. etc bought from a guy in Texas.

On one of the heads 2 of the exhaust studs are missing and there are two longer studs threaded in. looks like the outer part of the hole is bigger, maybe the stud broke and had to be drilled.

some of the inlet manifold studs are missing too but you can use your own.

I can email more photo's to anyone interested.

800 Euro's plus shipping.

looks like the valves are too small
mine are much larger in my 2.0s

They look like 2.0 to me. Compared them to a picture and the valese look right.
3 bolt intakes. Cant imagine some one going through the work to put in smaller valves. Good price if they have good valve job. Might give an estimate on what it would cost to send them back over the pond.

Part number on heads looks like 039 101 371a.

I will get an estimate of shipping cost to CA, If you want to give me your area code it will be more accurate.

There are Aircooled VW Buses, Bugs and Ghia guys putting Type IVs
in their cars all over Volkszone and the Samba. Have you tried advertising there as well ?
The heads look really good. Should sale easily. Good Luck with it.

Always wanted to go to Ireland.
Closest I have been was Shannon Airport. A stop-over because of weather.
Blue-black water, rocks, then the greenest grass I've ever seen, as we landed.
I did purchase a really thick blanche, knitted pull-over sweater in one of the stores.
Welcome to the World.

039 101 371A are definitely 914 2.0L heads - for a 75/76 (note air injection ports).
