I use a modified Eastwood fender roller tool. Modified to fit 5x130mm & 4x130mm

Baseball bat and a roller.
Search this site, pelican and google. There is a nice video somewhere of a guy doing the bat routine.

try to borrow the proper tool, & practice on an old junker before doing your car...
& Check YOU tube video's Its where I learned all sorts of things.

Found a rental site to rent the roller tools and adaptor. Also looking into the Eastwood one.

I wouldn't use that....notice it follows a constant radius arc which our 914s do not have.
I've done the baseball bat and 2x4 technique with the help of a friend.

True on the radius but the tool works great. Needs to be adjusted as you go and you need to keep the paint hot and flexible. Old paint will be too dried out and will crack even with heat. Also depends on the type of paint.
