The price on this seems too cheap for just having "some" rust issues. I would think the motor alone could be worth it, but I'm no expert.

If I were anywhere near it, I'd check it out.

I'll be around Palo Alto soon....just sent the seller an email. Rust could be more than just a 'little' issue, hence the price.

I saw the picture of the rust in the cowl.

with that much damage how much rust is still covered up.

I see it was deleted. Did someone here buy it?

If it has spent time in San Francisco, especially the west side, it is full of rust. Salt fog.....

I picked it up. Rust is minimal so far...will need to take off the rockers to inspect the longitudes, which looks good from the bottom. Pan is solid, hell hole repaired. Motor strong, the dells need a bit of tuning. Car is a bargain in my opinion. ..it also came with a binder of receipts and documents for the 2.4 build and all the other goodies.
