A few days ago I posted For Sale, I was cleaning out some 914 garage stuff & put a teaser photo showing a box of tool kit tools (mistake) and WOW I was inundated/flooded with tool kit requests mostly from newbie's asking for a price on a tool kit with a price. confused24.gif I believe since 914's are becoming popular and desirable new owners believe tool kits & spare tools are plentiful & cheap. happy11.gif I believe 80% ++ of the 914's out there need rust repairs and require deep pocket $$ to make them drivable or show quality rolleyes.gif Our 914 world is changing.

Best advice is buy the best & most expensive 914 you can afford, because you will spend double the $$ to restore with scarce 914 NOS & mint parts.

BTW:
I believe 914-6 tool kits (if available) sell for $1K to $3K depending on condition.
I believe 914-4 tool kits (if available) sell for $500 bucks to $800.00 bucks depending on year & condition.

What do you guys think???? We need to educate the newbie's. idea.gif Rare parts are becoming a problem, thanks to our wonderful suppliers we have choices. sheeplove.gif

True, but that profile is changing.
