This car jumped up to $10k quickly and still has 6 days left on the auction.

Stating "concours condition" and "original paint" only to see black paint in one of the trunks? Seems fishy... Otherwise it's a nice looking teener.

Black headlight surrounds not original on 1972 model year.

Ad states Pedrini wheels but has Rivieras.

$10,100 and reserve not met. As stated nice looking teener but not Concours.

A nice driver maybe. Concours condition? Definitely not.

It does have 73 front bumper. Maybe the bumper was replaced from an accident?

Concours does not have that crap on the glove box.

..... but has Rivieras.

I noticed that immediately, which screams NOT concours...

I think maybe the guy that worked on it was named "Concours".

Regardless of what sellers say, it is the responsibility of the buyer to do all of their homework so they are not taken to cleaners on a purchase. This appears to be a nice car- but not a concours car for sure. Sellers who use language, which is clearly not an accurate representation of the car, should be approached with extreme caution. Caveat Emptor my friends.

There are many different levels of concours.

Might be nothing but looks rippled

Glenn, I agree.
Leaky master too.
Aside from the possibility of rust in that photo what about those odd looking front-to-back lines ? floor work ?
retouched photo ?
Looks fishy.

Man it's really bugging me now. I keep zooming in on that pic trying to figure out what's going on... just looks odd.

No closer look needed. Front end damage that wasn't repaired correctly ...

Auction up over $17K now and still have yet to reach the reserve!

Clearly the way to sell a car for more than it's worth is to sell it on EBay.

I tend to look @ cars with low mileage (if correct) with concerns ,it goes out for a drive on Sunday, then if it snows or rains or its in a garage etc,etc and not being used it is going to be more hassle than a car used as a daily driver with more miles under the wheels...

Make a lot of false claims and use the words "Concours Condition", then sit back and watch the bids (and money) come in!
bandjoey
His reply about the trunk paint.

The original owner did that from day one he wanted to preserve the trunk so it never would rush it s been like that ever since I would have done the same he only did it in the trunk and there s no emissions in Wisconsin so there is nothing to track the mileage but I can guarantee you 100% the car was never touched and the miles are correct the condition of this car is amazing in every way
iwanta914-6
A completely original rust free 914 is rare, and to find one in Wisconsin seems impossible, lol.
