I just acquired a very nice original steering wheel with part number 914 347 804 10 and date stamp of 3/70. The last one I listed for $200 and literally sold in two minutes. I've seen them priced from $350 to $575. What's a reasonable price to list the wheel for?

It's not a 914-6 wheel, it's an early 914-4 wheel. Fits a 914-6 perfectly but a big difference in price due to the model number. $150-200. A 914-6 wheel is 803 10 - plastic rim and 806 10 leather rim.

Fair enough. I found a couple ancient threads indicating this part number applied to sixes. Apparently they were wrong. I thought I could believe everything on the Internet.

They are identical in every way except 804 vs 806. I could care less but the number matching/date matching thing matters to some.

It is a great base for a thick wrap wheel and fits early 911's as well.
