Good morning everyone,
I have a hi torque starter, not sure if it matters but how many amps do our starters pull?
Thanks?

Very difficult to measure. That's why we dont really know.
Most hand held DMMS can only measure up to 10 AMps.
Clip on probes are mostly for AC current (the DC ones like I have at work are thousands of dollars and require an oscope).
I have heard >65 Amps mentioned for our regular starters.
So approaching 100 Amps seems realistic.

"A whole lot". Big enough to need that fat positive cable, and a good ground path!!

What's the reason for having a high torque starter?
