Since no one can reply to B's locked threads, I'm starting one. Hopefully someone responds. Besides RichardL, is anyone else traveling down from the SF bay area tomorrow? Inquiring minds wanting to bum rides want to know.
Thanks,
Jen

I probably won't be able to make it. I'm asking around for Birgit. (she's had a phone permanently attached to her ear since this thing went down) She can probably get a ride down tomorrow, but I think Richard is heading back up tomorrow night, and she was planning on staying until saturday. If anyone is going down from the bay area and heading up saturday, she needs a ride back up.

Yer gonna go a hell of a lot farther than Rancho Cucamonga...you'll head out I-10 to almost Palm Springs and then make a left turn on SR 62 up thru the Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley and then Joshua Tree (in the middle of the dirty rotten stinkin desert, pardon me, hi-desert).

Right. Damn, I forgot. Joshua tree. But Birgit will be staying in San Berdoo, so she just needs a way to get from San Berdoo to San Jose.

Jeroen is flying in! Anybody gonna pick him up....
Nah, just kidding! I talked to him tonight and he wishes he could be there. I wonder if he has ever seen the desert?

Gonna be a small caravan
I'm leaving at 4am - doing I-5, 210, I-10 etc.
I'm going to meet with Dad Roberts and we'll offer whatever moral support can be done.
We'll carry everyones best wishes.
I'm coming straight back (long day!), but others will be visiting with B later on.
Fortunately I haven't seen 'Super Size Me' yet - I will probably break the record for junk food consumed in a day!

Birgit and I are going to ride up together in Brad's truck...scary thought about that truck...yikes!!! Getting back may be a problem if we can bail him out and he has to stay up there, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

So far....I'm having anyone who is traveling out to Joshua Tree meet here at my place in Ontario. It is on the your way down from up north. Anyone in the LA area can contact Aaron. I believe he will probably be coming to my place also. Obviously if you're closer than me you don't need to come here. Aaron has my numbers as do Richard, Birgit, and Lyressa. It will be about an hour and a half drive out to JT. Planning on leaving about 11am. After I post this I will getting ready to leave for work. My cell and my home number will be available after 7:30 am. Thanks in advance to everyone and ALL their efforts. Norm..."Dad Roberts"

Someone, SirAndy, Birgit, Dad Roberts, please post and let us know the results of today's court appearance. I will be checking the board late tonight (EST) and my thoughts and prayers are with Brad and his family.
