72914 aka. Barry from Pensacola needed a hand to put the clutch and trans back in.

Engine was already in and BOY do I hate it that way. ended up the Pressure Plate he had was out of spec to thick "Weird" Stabbed it up pulled it out, scratched head shimmed pivot ball, stabbed again still jacked up. went and got another Pressure Plate. Whala perfect. rest of everything went back together in about an hour.

PP friction plate was a full .105 thicker than the one that worked. I DUNNO but clutch arm free play after 2 washers was just a tick over 1/2" YEAH!!!!

Yep 914 dirt is extra special. and the new bruises from wrestling that SOB into place.

They are pretty dang simple compared to the Mini S and E36 m3 which both had head gasket replacements this year.
