What year mr2 shifter should I purchase for coldwaters cable shifter? Thanks
You could probably use either the 85-89 or 91-95 but I think we've mostly used the 85-89. If you look at the 91-95 the mounting holes are off center. The guys at mr2parts4u on e-bay are pretty decent.
They have one on there now:

$30-$40 is pretty much the going rate.

I saw one at my local yard last week. If it's still there I can grab it for you tomorrow. Yard charges 15$
I talked with Ian the other day. Right now his priority is the redesign of his engine cradle so cable shifters are not his priority.
