It's a good rule. Having members make an offer leaves it open to several possible offers. Allows the seller to take the highest offer. Too much like an auction

I was ready to offer $25 for everything shipping included. Perhaps a parts for auction sub forum is something to consider. With rules to be ignored of course. All except the one where all high bids MUST be accepted.
