OK guys, When I polish something, weather it be my gas cap, or my center caps, I dont have a clue what to put on to keep it polished.. I hear Petrolium, but when I rub that stuff on, and then rub it off with something it scratches and gets rid of half my polish job.. What should I put on as a sealant or something?

Thanks guys

Andrew

Try regular old carnuba car wax. That's what I use on my polished Fuchs.

Does Autosol say anything to you ??

We have it here. It is for chrome and polished aluminium. I like it.

The carnuba will work! I remember some other type of polish... Wernol or something?

Or... try Jergen's Lotion. Brad says he uses it to polish his knob all the time.

Just kidding.

Karl,
Brad uses Jerkin's Lotion on his knob.
He said its better when shiftin' gears.

Err, Maybe you dont quite get it... The stuff I polish looks perfect once I polish it, but I didnt know how to seal it right.

Thanks guys, I think I can figure it out now.

Wenol is the stuff Karl is refering to. Works good. SemiChrome also works good. smilie_flagge6.gif
