Worth quite a bit...

Look for a series number. I'm guessing early one too.
Mark Henry
It is a early Rennshifter made from an aftermarket ford mustang shifter.

It's an early one. I have one of the first he ever made and it looks exactly like the one pictured.

I was looking for a later one, but if someone is interested - the owner is Matt and his cell is 920 627-7550 he is asking $150. On Craig's in Milwaukee. (I live in LA,CA)

Nice

The bottom of the lever is like the side shifters. Not the ball cup early shifters. How does one mate the shifter to the early front rods?
aircooledtechguy
"Early" - as in an early production run for this brand of shifter.

It's for a late car ('73-on) with a side-shift trans.

Still a lot of re-engineering to do, he didn't just slap a different base on.

BTW the inspiration was the Mustang shifter and the first versions were modified mustang shifters, but pretty sure the final product no longer uses a "core" Mustang shifter.
On the latest Rennshifters he end stops are not at the funny angle, it doesn't have the reverse lockout option and the stick is one piece.
