I'm working on having new master cylinders made for the 914's. They are going to be 19mm to crossover for the 911 also. Now you can get a quality part at a reasonable price. These are about 90 days out, but they will be a quality product, that is fully engineered.

I'm in for one.

I would buy at least 2 of them. My '74 needs one that I can't get a good pedal on (kind of scary). I think it is a URO 19mm.

One of the reasons I'm doing this. I had a similar experience.

Hopefully you bought an ATE, because friends don't let friends buy URO.

Upgrading to M caliper front brakes, so I will need on too !

Thanks !
Mikey914
I'm sure Eric can help you on that front. I actually already partner with him on some calipers. The master cylinders we had discussed in the past, now I have a reason to go after this.

Possible,
I'll be discussing with Eric tomorrow. Going to see how we can optimize the program.

mc size has nothing to do with engine size.

Put me down for 1 as well. My dad's car needs a 19mm MC bad..
76-914
I don't need one presently, but if this is a product that bURrO offers then count me in. sheeplove.gif 'em.
BillC
I'd like to get one, too.

However, if at all possible, I'd prefer to get one that is the correct stock size for my '73 1.7, since I'm planning to keep it all-stock. Any chance of doing a second GB at some point for the original size?

What is the original size, anyway? 17mm?

Looks like we are best at sticking with the 19mm for the time being. Yes we will be proceeding on these. May even make some improvements aktion035.gif

I will take one

Thanks

Like threads for a fitting (3/8 NPT to hose barb) for the reservoir hoses?

Yeah, anything that can be done to improve that setup. Getting the supply hoses to set blows. mad.gif Be nice to not have to remove the fuel tank to replace.

Please count me in for one as well, Mark!

Please put me down for 1 , cool I've been wanting to replace my 23mm dry.gif ,

I'd go for one too - good idea to have a quality backup!

THIS!..... I have a brand new MC in my car that I have tried and tried and tried to get those stupid Fuching lines to seat and seal in. If you could PLEASE put a reasonable fitting on it,.....I'm in.
fixer34
I'll join the crowd. I'm assuming this is a proper replacement for a '70 -6? I think mine is still the original MC; maybe replaced the insides about 25yrs ago, but it still holds a solid pedal.

Probably pull all the calipers and send to PMB (?) for rebuild this winter
jkb944t
I'll interested in one too.
