A dozen yrs ago,did fourteen or so,heavy machining,gearboxes,reduction gears...
I did a search here for the subject, but got no return.
All of this 'stuff' has been around for years,it's standard procedure in the machining field.
You see it all around you, commercial buildings, infrastructure, fencing.
Building gensets and power transmission gear for offshore use makes it mandatory, you know,to stop the rust.
I had assumed the world was aware of it,but it didn't come up in a few other threads.
Get it,prep for it,apply it and observe your 914 not rusting before your eyes.
Any questions you might have is answered here---->>
