The persistence of spammers and crooks is amazing. I run the Amphicar forums at amphicar770.com. I have had to put all sorts of anti-spam software in place as well as moderating all new users. I blocked all of China and most of Eastern Europe.

I sometimes skim the anti-spam logs and it amazes me how there are thousands of attempts to create bogus accounts each month, almost all of them through the aforementioned countries.
