How to repair an Auxiliary Air Valve?

WD40 flush, energize w/ 12v, disconnect it and place it in the freezer for 45 min's and repeat this cycle until it closes completely. If it doesn't get warm when energized then you can R&R the element w/ a resistor (it's documented somewhere on this site).
