$6,000 OBO, cashier's check

no structural rust as far as i can tell. the usual cosmetic surface stuff underneath. i think the floor plans were replaced. paint job is not glossy, looks ok unless you get really close.it needs a radio. the heat doesn't work due to lever not
working and no blower to blow air through the heat exchangers .i had rigged
the driver side exchanger open back in the winter just to see if some heat
might passively make its way to the cabin back on a trip to the inspection
station, but no luck and i forgot about it. on the trip down to virginia, 2
times during the drive, i got puffs of gray smoke coming up from the vent
in front of the steering wheel, but only on the driver's side. the only
possible explanation i can come up with is that there are holes in the heat
exchangers so those would need to be replaced if the car needs heat. directly under the battery looks fine, but out to the side, something has been done. pic included in the album. new PMB rear calipers and new rotors on front and back. new stainless steel brake lines installed. fuel pump died, but i installed a new one and that seems to be working fine. main fuel line probably needs to be replaced since it's 40 years old. the main reasons i'm selling that i just don't like driving in general much these days and on the drive down to my new place in VA from DC, the transmission started having difficulty shifting. the only problem i'd had before was 2nd being a little hard to find or making a noise going into it, but i began to not start in 1st gear and be in 3rd instead. part could be due to my lack of skill at manual transmission, but there was definitely something going on there. and i also couldn't find 4th. so i just drove the rest of the way in 3rd. once i got it parked, i went through the gears with the car parked and found them all again, but after doing that a few times it felt like the shifter got "stuck", but after messing with it a little, it "popped" and the gears were there again. i think the car just needs new bushings, but i don't have the motivation or skill to get it done and don't want to pay someone to do it, so i'd just rather sell the car to someone who wants a drivable project that just needs a few things here and there.
