Here is my '70 1.7 i'm rustoring (big work as you see)

and was wondering why everyone uses MIG welders....

more progress on the bulkhead.
and i have a question about the longs: if i repatch them with higher gauge steel and oxy weld them, would they regain the same stiffness as original ones (or near that)?

hey, great work bringing one back, and its really cool to see that youre torch-welding, i plan on getting one this summer ....mabye just for kicks...
