$43 for the mild steel version and $63 for the hardened steel one.... for the handful of times that I would need it each year I will stick to a hand file.
If it were half that price I would consider it.

They also state that like a drill bit it will wear out, which makes sense, however I can sharpen a drill bit.

Look into the NG1700, on ebay for about $25 and comes with a handle.
