It is a little of this and some of that. Looks homemade with modified parts for different manufactures.

Looks like a Toyota MR2 kit that was grafted onto a 914.

It amazes me what people do when they don't want to fix a bump or buy a correct bumper. Luckily we live in a world now where the cheap butcher can't afford it anymore

There is one in Youngstown that has been for sale for a good while, over a year.

It might not even sell if reduced to $750 instead of $7500 ... poor, poor car.

I have the original sales literature for this kit someplace. A good while back, one of these popped up on here and I posted the mfgr name....then I forgot it again. When I was a lot younger, I thought the kit looked kinda cool in red.

The car I pictured is asking 1K.
Ad says it runs, if it is sound structurally, it could be a nice fiberglass skin replacement candidate.

It looks like a rayco kit. It was supposed to make the 914 look like a Boxster

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=24586How is that possible since the Boxster wasn't even a prototype when the Rayco kit came out?

That's clearly the "I have no taste" kit.

Maybe they had an earlier kit. I have a rayco kit brochure with the Boxster prototype on it. I actually thought the kit looked good back then, but I am not a fan of fiberglass
