Anyone got an older PC laptop sitting around? I need something for tuning the FI and using the LM-1.

System Requirements:

Windows 95 or Later
300Mhz Pentium 1 or faster
48 MB RAM or better.

What'cha got?

What kind of interface do you need on the laptop? Lots of laptops in that range were built without standard interfaces in order to save weight/costs.

i have a 600mhz P3 (dell) running win98, 128MB ram, runs fine, except the display is shot.
werks fine on a external monitor tho.

if you can figure out how to fix it, it's yours for free!

When I said "Bring it to the lunch." That meant "I'll take it, bring it to the lunch." rolleyes.gif Sheesh.

What model is it Andy? I'm searching for screen replacements now.

I have several Texas Instument Laptops, and 4 or 5 desktops (with monitors) that I could provide, all I ask in return is that someone share the procedure of what we are doing and the code, if there is any. Thanks. Michael

Michael,
I will be using it for programming and tweaking my Mega Jolt Light Jr distributorless ignition system. I will need to run java, and have a serial port. I am not sure of the exact specs that I need, but I would need a portable comp. Ther is more info here:

I am a novice at this so I will be goofing with it for some time. I am always looking for help. I'll PM you and we can work it out. Thanks for the offer. smilie_pokal.gif
