It's not hard to do. Four posts, stand them up Two horizontal members go side to side Ramps bolt on front to back
You will need help. A strong set of backs and beer.

Having a helper is highly advisable.... however, I put my Bendpak 9000lb 4 post lift together by myself. I used an engine hoist and a cheap HF furniture dollies, it wasn't easy but it was do-able. Having a helper should make it relatively easy.

In case you are still looking for cable routing info...
Most of these 4 post lifts are the same.. 1 hydraulic piston under 1 rail with 4 cables coming off it. All 4 cables go to the end of that rail, with 2 coming back to the end of that rail and attach to the uprights on the reservoir end, the other 2 attach to the posts at the other end.
Longest cable goes to the post directly opposite the reservoir, width wise. next longest to the post next to the reservoir. Third longest is diagonally across from the reservoir Shortest is at the end of the rail with the reservoir.
That is the way the ones I have worked with are configured..
Your results may vary...
If you need pictures, let me know and I can try to get what you need

Looks to be in pretty damned good condition. Shouldn't there be some rust on it? I wished I could have found a good used lift to fit my needs! Nice score Paul.

Yes very good condition, no rust or corrosion. I think I got a decent deal at $1200
I looked at the Chinese ones , the lowest was $1700 plus 600 shipping to my nearest terminal.
