Thought this was fairly interesting, especially to be located around these parts. Looks like it is indeed genuine 962 bodywork and the tub that they fabbed looks pretty damn legit. For a one-off "kit" car, I'm impressed.

There was a Comment that it started as a project at Gunnar and stalled. The pictures look like the Gunnar. If it is, it should be well constructed. But what do you do and is it worth $75k?

What a great way to get to work.

TC, you should buy this and finish it.

Many of the later 962s were "kit" cars fabricated by outside race teams and recognized as legitimate cars.
I'd love this thing.
Best part is, unlike a 917 with an impossible to source 12 cyl engine you can run a 6 cyl turbo and it is pretty close to original spec.

If the budget would only allow it would be on a truck headed my way.

Finally something that might be able to keep up with the 914's at the Auto-X events! biggrin.gif

As to the value, worth 75G's - not to me but it only takes one. There is ALLOT of work left to do on that build...

As with many around here I'm sure, the 962 was plastered all over my walls. Seeing it in action at the Rolex 24h (and winning) was so amazing!

In fact, I just happened to find that the car that won the race I went to is up for auction at Mecum next month...
