Anyone have a slick trick to getting these popped on?
I've tried everything I can think of but, they are not budging.

The plastic is very hard (no give in it) and it seems like the hole is too small.

I've just about ruined the small lip on the ball that's supposed to lock into the groove on the metal shaft.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts....

I think I put the ball in HOT water/microwave to soften it up just a little. Then used a vice and a rubber mallet.

Switch to a side shift tranny.
