Anyone know if a 5" Tachometer will fit in a 914 dash plate without modification?

Probably not as the standard tach is 4.7" plus the rubber ring it ends up at about 4.9", so would still need a bit of fettling to get it in the hole without the rubber.

What brand are you looking at using?

I hear good things about Stack, but I have just started looking. Seems like not much available in 4.5"

Any sugestions? I am looking for a clean look. Something with adjustable shift point indicators and probably high rev memory.

This is a 4.5, should fit without the plate.

Anyone hear of this company?
