Got the car out of the garage this morning for the first drive to work this year. Adjusting the window and the crank broke off in my hand (again) . Anyone have any recommendations on a source for billet window crank handles for later cars (74)?

I think all VW T1 through T4 and some porsche cranks fit.

Those are cool, so they all fit the 914 too, that's good to know. I might have to get a set to match my pedals.

I had a similar problem recently when I wanted to replace my mis-matched window cranks. I started this thread to search for a solution. 736conver came to the rescue and provided exactly what I wanted. He has other styles available also.

the plain black plastic coated window cranks for a $1 a pop at the junk...
