I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the 22mm nut on the top of the front struts needs to be torqued to? I did a little looking on "The Google" and here on the world and didn't find it. The Hayes manual doesn't appear to call it out either.

Found the torque spec. 57.9 foot pounds.

I was gonna say "2 grunts."

I also suggest some blue loctite on
them.

If they loosen up you will hear a banging over bumps.

You could also put a dot on the side of the nut with a marker or paint, so you can see at a glance if the nut ever starts to loosen.
