Thinking of building a 86 mm stroker with a cb performance case already to go.

I cant seem to find much info on rod length info.
im not new to building performance engines, but new to VW

Never built a stroker before, for any engine manufacturer.

ANy info or hep ?

oh yah standard deck block unless someone says other ioptions are better

First engine I wouldn't recomend building anything but stock size or a 2056cc.

Then the first stroker would be based on a 78mm Type 1 rod journal crank.

You have lots of physical limitations to o er one with the 86 crank.. You need a t least a 5.6" rod with that, which will complicate things further... Do lots of homework .

What is your budget?
78mm bet you are up over $6k Canadian for parts and that's not counting carbs and exhaust.

Canadian dollar sucks right now.

Ya the dollar is horrible.
As for budget i want to keep it under 10 so im prepared to spend.
I think m gonna go 78 crank and 96 pistons and make a 2282.
