I am offering for the first time my 1970 Porsche 914-6 which is one of the most special Porsche 914-6’s available today. I have owned this 914-6 since 2010 and am offering it for the first time and exclusively to members of the 914 World. I have not placed it on Ebay or any other sites, as I want to reach out to members and collectors that I have met over the years. My objective is to find a great home and owner to continue the nurturing process. This example has been kept in a heated/air conditioned garage. It is always covered and I run all my vintage Porsches every two weeks. The oil is changed every year regardless of how they are used. I was one of the pioneers of the detailing industry and have written books for Chilton's on car care and have also been featured in over 200 publications for my fanaticism with regards to car care. I currently own a 1968 912, a 1970 914-6, and a 1964 356C. I am selling my 912 and 914-6 as I have just purchased a 1963 B Cabrio and I am seeking a 1959 356 Coupe sunroof, A, or a D example. All of my cars including my 914-6 are registered, inspected, and charged regularly. They are all the finest examples and run beautifully. I will also include as many photo’s as I can, and will send you many more if you call me or send me your e-mail address. The color is Adriatic blue with black interior, all numbers are matching, original manuals, tool kit, maintenance books from factory, COA certificate, leather steering wheel, and it looks as it did in 1970, maybe even better. This example had a full restoration including body, interior, engine, etc. This was all done prior to my ownership and still shows as brand new. In fact, this 914-6 smells brand new and is probably restored to a higher level than new.
It is a car that one must see. This along with all my cars have never seen a drop of rain. They have been polished and waxed at least a dozen times per year as I do it for the love of nurturing them. They have never been in need for the process, however, I love spending time with them. The engine compartment looks brand new, the underside looks brand new and all components are like the day it left the factory. There is not an imperfection anywhere and the two trunks are like new. I have many records for the restoration. The glass, targa top, rims, tires, etc are in brand new condition. I do not believe that there is a more beautiful six available.
Everything works flawlessly from the engine to the heat and she sounds wonderful with her factory Weber carbs.
This 914-6 painted in Adriatic blue is a color that evokes emotion in the onlookers and sets the car apart from all other examples. The investment potential of this car is secured with the matching number engine, transmission, and original color all of which are all verified by the included Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche. This example is loaded with options including the following:
· Matching numbers throughout
· 5 speed transmission
· Original color Adriatic Blue.
· Original mileage 68,000
· Leather steering wheel
· 14” Fuchs alloy wheels
· Fog lights
· Owner’s manual, emissions supplement, complete tool kit, jack, original keys – Doors &
Glove box. All the above are original
· All original interior, all factory supplied and in excellent shape

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:
. Custom mats
. All original keys
. Optima battery
. COA Certificate
. Custom car cover in the same shape as body

I am asking $125,000.00 firm. I can be reached at 917-825-0559 or sgrisanti@mclaughlinstern.com. I am happy to supply more photos and information to serious buyers.

Fantastic!

We would sure appreciate full photo coverage of your car. It's not often a car of this quality surfaces, and for sale at a fair price.

Post as many pics as you can.

Also, what can you tell us but any service-able parts that may or may not have been replaced such as brake lines, brakes, suspension bits, or any other rubber parts that may have been replaced. Looking all original though to me. Sweet ride!!! Wish I had $125K.

Wow - super nice collection.

I particularly like the synergy of your other vehicles' "4 wheels with 4 cylinders, 2 wheels with 2 cylinders". Is that why the -6 has to go...? biggrin.gif

And thanks for shepherding these wonderful creations to ensure they live forever.

Safe and happy new year to you and yours.
