My memory may be failing me in my old age (31) or maybe I'm thinking about a VW but shouldn't it be cut for a large flat blade (impact screwdriver) to unscrew it?
bondo
Snap-on makes a giant screwdriver bit that fits on a 1/2" ratchet. Probably not the answer you were looking for smile.gif

You could try one of these. not sure if it would work.
