Getting ready to place an order for a pair of new seats for the 914. Looking at a pair of seats from Classic Touring Seats, type 14. The pictures on line look amazing. Just wondering if anyone has seen these in person.

You might want to first compare the cost to have your seats reupholstered by Autos International or with their 914 kit to a local high quality classics resto upholstery shop near you. Lakewell.com also has excellent kits & carpets, & 914Rubber & other member vendors may have them too.

Black is easy to find, Brown & Tan less so - especially in the basketweave & brickweave for the centers.

If yours is the Beige/tan, then Lakewell does have an excellent match of the tan/Beige with both the basketweave & smooth leatherette vinyl very close to OE material, which AI & the others locally don't offer. They can send you enough Beige material in bulk of each for a local shop to do everything to match - seats, backpad, center cushion, door panels - if you email them. IIRC they have a good brown match in both too.

I don't know anyone using the repro 914 seats to compare.
