I need a wheel, I'll look up what # I need (I haven memorized the ranges
)
My car is a '73...
I 'think' the 805-11 is the one that fits, let me know if I'm wrong.
Edit- looks like a 809 works too, PMme detail and if you think my research is flawed.

Craig, I'm looking for one to fit a '75 ... what's the # on the one I have circled?
Click to view attachmentWhat does the
914 347 805 11 one look like?
I looked at the 914 PET, but it only indicates models: bis Mod.71 & ab Mod.72:
This is what the PET shows:
bis Mod.71:
914 347 803 10 (hard rubber)
914 347 806 10 (leather)
Also, bis Mod.71
914 347 805 10 (leather)
and ...
ab Mod 72:
914 347 805 11 (hard rubber)
914 347 806 10 (leather)

If you have a mid or late car '72-76 you want a wheel that ends in 11. Early cars '70-71 take a wheel that ends in 10. It's that simple.

Did we need to PM, or we're our posts on the thread counted?
Just wondering.

Okay, I have 5 809-00 steering wheels left. It appears that that number works on the 74 and up.
I checked today, and east coast shipping is $26.00 and west coast is $18.35, plus $10.00 for the wheel.
Send funds to paypal friends and family, camp914@comcast.net.
I will box and send next week. Please be sure that I have a correct mailing address.
Thank you.

Isnt all the wheels the same once you removed the plastic hub and cancel ring ?

No. Similar - yes but a perfect fit - no.
There is a chamfer on the back of the late wheels that is not on the early wheels, 914-6, or 911 wheels. So when you "modify" a late wheel to take an early cancel ring, it will work, it's safe, but it's still not a perfect fit.
