Hi All -

I am looking at a pair of speakers for my 914 project, and I want to make sure they will fit. Alas, I don't yet have the plastic panels they will eventually attach to. Can anyone tell me what the distances are between the screw holes?

Thanks in advance -

Charlie

If you want any kind of decent sound, you need speakers a little bigger. These aftermarket speaker pods mount in the stock location and let you bang in a larger, more modern speaker.

Thanks for the tip, Bob -

Alas, I actually would prefer to go with an older radio setup. For me, old Porsches are like time travel, and the sound of an old radio is part of the experience. The speakers I am looking at are old - I just want to make they will fit before I pull the trigger.

Hi Charles, I went with the Pyle setup as well, I like the stealth grill underneath the speaker enclosure. Its loud enough over the motor. The radio is just a Saphire AM FM type.
