I am trying to install a new dash vinyl and can't find a post on how to remove the heater control levers and the fasten seat belt warning light. I did a search with no luck.
Thanks Brian

There is a bracket on the back of it that screws to the dash, but I don't think you need to take that out to put new dash front or top in.
Go on 914rubber.com there is a video on how to take the dash off and put it back. It was done by Brad Mayer at Octeenerfest.
I hope that helps. You would also have to take off the control cables but I don't think you want to do all that.

I already have the dash top off I just don't see the back plate you describe.
Also I can't find the videos on the home page of 914 rubber. There is a link to a installation
link that goes nowhere .
Thanks Brian

Here is a picture of the controls from the bottom you see on the back where it would attach

I did new dash vinyl and I did new dash and did not remove these at that time so I'm not sure why you are removing them??
