Putting motor back in and forgot where I need to hook up the wire. I think it was attached to the starter solenoid tab but can' remember Next to the yellow wire.

Green wire on engine shelf under battery. Single pole connector.

Its a green/black stripe wire actually. As Mark mentions, at the main chassis harness under the battery look for the single wire with a box connector, that's assuming you have a 1973-76 914.

Goes across the front of the motor; one of the mounting tabs goes on one of the oil cooler bracket bolts, then up through the engine tin and there plugs into the single wire with the box connector. (There's another mounting tab but I forget where it mounts!)
