This car found its way to germany about 6 or more years ago ??

I have been in contact with the seller and if I am right, he offered the car around
28K in Euro (not absolutly shure)

Now the car is offered by Classic Garage in Germany.

Now askink 44.900,00 Euro, an enormous price jump.

I am shure, they will find one, who pay this Price....

This 914 is in a great condition, but a conversion with body mods, not really a collector car. IS THIS WORTH 44.900,00 ?

There has been an on going discussion about the SPECULATORS that have jumped into the 914 market. They are trying to drive the prices through the roof on everything. Parts prices have gotten STUPID on Ebay. $2800 currently for a pair of NOS rear tail light assemblies.

The good news is sanity is still around the 914World. I personally think the car is worth around $15-20K.

Mark you opened the door for me so if the conversion is worth 15 to 20 k

Then the nos tail light lenses are worth what , 250 bucks ?


Just curious because i got a set from a member here 5 years ago for 50 bucks
They sent them to me even before i sent the money . Them were the good old days. ..

The white one in the background is in my garage since three years back.

I've seen 914-6's now advertised with GT "conversions" or "clone" asking GT prices. The last one was missing may of the correct parts very nice car but at 150k US.... Speculator. Some day it may rise to that level but I haven't seen anyone actually get that kind of money.
