His user name is Perry Kiehl too, so just PM him an inquiry on his engine harnesses.

I think he still does them for /6 conversions etc to get rid of the relay board.
I plan on contacting him when I'm actually ready to start-finishing mine.

I think his user name may have been changed. Edit: Perry Kiel and clone was added. Using the member search feature option 'the name contains' and then Perry.

Perry has the correct connector. This one single part is expensive, this has nothing to do with Perry, his price is going rate. Once you understand that part his cost is very reasonable. Quality is top notch.

Of course I'm a cheapass, so I made my own connector by using a scrap engine harness connector and then I made pins by scavenging them from old relays and turning them to size on a model lathe.

Start a new thread if you're handy and want to see how I did it.

My last conversion I did about the same and didn't use the relay board either however this car has a burnt up harness so I may have to make a new one or just buy one done.

Perry's harness is just from the main harness to the engine. A fair bit of the main harness is in the engine bay up to the relay board. That is not what Perry sells.
What Perry sells (IIRC) is a loom that only replaces the relay board and wiring to the engine.

There was a Euro guy who was talking about reproducing the main loom but it was spendy. Jeff Bowlsby likely would know the scoop.
Dave_Darling
He did reproduce it. I forget the cost, but it wasn't cheap--multiple thousands of Euro. I either read a thread on it here, or on the FB group, not sure which.

G Kroon. Top notch 911 harnesses and 914-6 harness. He's almost finished an early 914-4 harness as well. He's a member on world and pelican.

Darn hoping he did a stock type harness,I have repaired and resealed my stock relay board and would prefer to keep it,I sent my old 4cyl spares harness to the US as a pattern, went to Dennis the wiring loom guru in Oregon, have supplied him with details how to mod it and he suggested it could be done or used as a basic pattern only ,some wire length being the issue.
He did find me a new 14pin @ a great price from a nearby Porsche dealer.
He can make my loom for the CDI/coil and leave it open ended for me to apply connectors that's fine with me as he remakes all the NOS plugs and boots for my type of stock CDI.
He can copy any stock loom if he has a pattern I don't have that.
Thanks for the contact will do a search and report back,my next issue is sorting my oil lines and that's another story headbang.gif .
